Wisconsin Tribal Casinos not affected by economic problems

Casinos in Wisconsin are doing just fine. The national and global economic downturns arent hurting tribal casinos in this frigid state.

As reported by Wheeler News Service: “Wisconsin’s Indian casinos have apparently weathered the economic storm just fine.

“The Analysis Group, a national business consulting firm, said the state’s 27 gaming facilities took in a combined $1.3 billion dollars last year.

“That’s 7.3 percent more than the year before and it’s higher than the national growth rate of 5-percent.

“…Like many Wisconsin tourist spots, Tribal President Bob Chicks says he has not seen much of a downturn in business this year as more local people stop by…”
